On 24 September 2009, the Government of Georgia delivered a report to people in Samtskhe-Javakheti. The Ministries opened their pavilions in the central square of Akhalkalaki. Prime Minister Nika Gilauri of Georgia was also in Akhalkalaki.
After having met the population, the Prime Minister said that events like those were of great importance to stud problems in regions.
"Our events are important to learn problems in various regions and plan the future of our development and very important in terms of interaction as well. In regions, we learn about community problems. Different regions have different questions. Questions here mainly revolved around agriculture, in Rustavi - around healthcare," Nika Gilauri said.
