Meeting of the team of coordination of the human capital development Print Version

Foreign aid in the human capital development area, achievements and challenges in the field of education, inclusive education for all, support for the higher education and science were the main discussion topics during the coordination meeting on the human capital development issues that was held today at "Rooms Tbilisi".

Labor market analysis, employment policy, development of professional education system, non-formal education, scholarships of the Professional Educational Center as well as other issues were also discussed during the meeting, which was led by Ketevan Natriashvili, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science as well as Daniel Haas, the head of the Economic Cooperation and Development Department of the Embassy of Germany.

The Government of Georgia regularly holds thematic coordination meetings to inform the donor states and organizations on ongoing reforms and development needs as well as for the purpose of implementation of the state initiatives and mobilization of the foreign aid. Respective meetings represent a continuation of the annual donor coordination forum held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister.

The Administration of Government of Georgia organizes and supports 6 annual coordination meetings in the following fields: economic growth, human capital development, rule of law, good governance and public administration reform; social welfare and sustainable utilization of national resources.
