Within the framework of the visit Nika Gilauri delivered a speech at the World Economic Forum dedicated to European and Central Asian issues.

 

After the Forum the Prime Minister of Georgia stated that "Important is the fact that at the World Forum, dedicated to fight against corruption, Georgia was the main speaker. Absolutely everybody pointed out that the example of Georgia is an example for the world. At present our country is the main leader in the transformation called fight against corruption. Advertising of this is carried out not only by us but also by Transparensy International, other organizations and television itself. Today Georgia is Example Number One in fighting corruption".

The Prime Minister of Georgia also met with the Federal Chancellor of Austria Werner Feimann, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Roza Otunbayeva and the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Igor Lukšić.

After the meeting with Roza Otunbayeva it was decided that the Kirghiz delegation would visit Georgia in the near future to share the experience. the Prime Minister of Georgia, Nika Gilauri, after the meetings in Austria pointed out:

 

Prime Minister of Georgia, Nika Gilauri and the President of Kyrgyzstan, Roza Otunbayeva "The government of Kyrgyzstan will arrive in Georgia and we shall hold a meeting where this experience will be shared. This was the main motive of our dialogue. Reforms, reforms, reforms, which is one of the important export products of Georgia today. It is necessary to discuss the Georgian reforms and this exactly wPrime Minister of Georgia, Nika Gilauri, paid a working visit to Austriaas the topic of our conversation. What Georgia did in due time, after the Rose Revolution, and what the government of Kyrgyzstan can copy at this stage. As for the conversation with the Prime Minister of Montenegro, here we talked about the common experience which can be shared by the two countries, and this is tourism and energy. Both issues are most interesting. As you know we started exporting energy to Serbia. For Montenegro is also interesting that we will be able to start exporting energy to Montenegro as well".
