Prime Minister visits Abu Dhabi

On October 10, 2011, the Prime Minister of Georgia, Nika Gilauri, attended the World Economic Forum held in Abu Dhabi. The World Economic Forum 2011 was dedicated to political, economic and financial stability, risks and global economic development.

The main speaker at the World Economic Forum with respect to the issues of fighting against corruption was the Prime Minister of Georgia. In his speech, the Prime Minister talked about projects and planes carried out in Georgia, fighting against corruption, patrol police reforms and restricting bureaucratic barriers.

"It is very important that against the background of today's world economic crisis, Georgia, as an economic model which works, is a main speaker. Despite economic crisis, the country continuous to grow, attract investors, create jobs. It is very important that I take part in the anticorruption group where I am the only representative of government. The very model of Georgia is taken as an example to be used by other countries," pointed out the Prime Minister of Georgia.

Within the framework of his visit, the Prime Minister met face to face with the founder of the Forum Claus Short and the Prime Minister of Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.
