On August 1, 2012at Kutaisi Government House, under the direction of the Prime Minister, Vano Merabishvili, the next government meeting has been held. The Prime Minister, along with the government members, reviewed the plan of social-economic development of Imereti Region.
At the meeting, the government members discussed problems having place in Imereti Region. Vano Merabishvili pointed out that after finishing construction of new clinics in Vani and Kharagauli, all citizens living in Imereti Region will be able to enjoy medical centers equipped with modern technique and staffed by qualified medical personnel.
According to Vano Merabishvili, after finishing the meeting, majority of the Ministers will stay at Imereti Region till the end of the week. They will visit villages of the region, get the population acquainted with the new four-year government action plan More Profit to the People and get information about their problems and needs. The Ministers will also inspect school rehabilitation process carried out in the region, get acquainted with course of registration of unemployed persons, meet with refugees and people suffered from earthquake in Chiatura. According to the Prime Minister, direct communication with population will help the government members to consider problems having place in Imereti region, during execution of the next year state budget.
