The Prime Minister of Georgia paid an official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan. Georgian Delegation was composed of the following persons: the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maia Panjikidze, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Kakha Kaladze, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, George Kvirikashvili, the State Minister for Diaspora Issues, Kote Surguladze, the Head of the Partnership Fund, Irakli Kovzanadze, and the Head of Georgian Development and Research Institute, Gia Khukhashvili.

After the end of the official meeting ceremony held at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the Georgian Delegation proceeded to the Honorable Funeral Alley, where the Prime Minister laid a wreath on the grave of the national leader, Heydar Aliyev, as well as the Alley and Eternal Flame Complex of Shakhids dead at the battle for independence of Azerbaijan .

Within the framework of the visit in Azerbaijan, the Prime Minister of Georgia met face to face with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. Today, the meeting will be held with his Azerbaijanian counterpart, Artur Rasizade.

The official visit of the Prime Minister of Georgian to the Republic of Azerbaijan will be finished on December 27.
