On November 25, 2013 the first meeting of the new government led by the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili. "Dear colleagues, congratulate you once again on approval of the government and the first meeting of the new government", - Irakli Garibashvili addressed to the members of Cabinet of Ministers.

During the Cabinet meeting today, 32 items on the agenda, among them 3 top secret and two additional issues were discussed and 35 items were approved. In accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers so called feasibility studies of Anaklia port will be financed by the Partnership Fund. For the purpose 5 million dollars will be allocated to the best world companies to explore The Black Sea transport logistic junction, including advisability of building international airport.
Today according to the decision of the Georgian Prime Minister, the Ministry of Economy of Georgia was commissioned to allocate funds to provide financing search operations for Levan Tebidze - the captain of the sunken ship "Stela".
The Ministry of Economy will allot necessary sum for the planned activities through Maritime Agency.
The Government of Georgia approved the Action Plan 2013-2018 for Tobacco Control. The Action Plan outlined specific departments and includes three main directions. The first educational activities, the second -support to quit smoking, and the third - reduce harm caused by passive smoking. The Government of Georgia elaborated strategy for tobacco control long ago and today's session approved action plan defining appropriate specific departments and time-frame.
