On December 26, 2013 a government meeting session was held. Thirty-four issues on the agenda, as well as six additional issues, were discussed, and a total of forty issues were approved.

The members of the government decided to allocate additional sums to the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara to be used for subsidizing citruses.

Members of Georgian national sports teams, trainers and administrative personnel received monetary rewards for their achievements in individual Olympic and non-Olympic sports, as well as other sports games, after November 1, 2013. To this end, 689,850 GEL will be allocated from the government's reserve fund.

It was decided at today's government meeting session to uphold a recommendation by the cross-agency committee for allocating finances for improving the infrastructure of schools of higher education, that is, public law legal entities operating under the management of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and to allocate financing to schools of higher education, public law legal entities operating under the management of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
