Statistics of Assistance for Citizens under the Anti-Crisis Plan Print Version

Employees who have lost their jobs or on unpaid leave received 1,200 GEL in compensations (200 GEL per month for 6 months). As of December, the compensation issued to 162,220 persons amounted to 129,324,100 GEL.

Self-employed citizens, 248,817 in all, received a one-off 300-GEL compensation, which amounted to a total of 74,645,000 GEL.

The 200-GEL assistance for children aged 17 and below was issued to 915,411 children, to amount to a total of 183,082,200 GEL.

3 months' worth of utility bills have been covered for citizens, subscribers with monthly power and natural gas consumption below 200 kilowatts and 200 m2, respectively. The financing also covers cleaning and water bills. In the course of 3 months, the power and natural gas bill cuts were enjoyed by over 1.2 million and 670,000 subscribers, respectively. The program's budget amounted to 170 million GEL.

Families registered in the unified database for the socially vulnerable, those with rating scores between 65,000 through 100,000, received 600-GEL compensations, an average of 100 GEL per month for 6 months. A total of 50,451,335 GEL was issued to 79,158 families.

Families registered in the unified database for the socially vulnerable, those with rating scores between 0 through 100,000, and with 3 or more children aged below 16, received 600-GEL compensations, an average of 100 GEL per month for 6 months. A total of 14,285,600 GEL was issued to 25,159 families.

Persons with severe disabilities, and children with disabilities, received 600-GEL compensations, an average of 100 GEL per month for 6 months, a total of 26,039,600 GEL.

New forms of assistance for citizens have been added under phase 4 of the anti-crisis plan:

1,200-GEL assistance for those who have lost their jobs
• 200 GEL a month in the course of 6 months (January-June)
• An estimated number of beneficiaries: 125,000
• Budget: 150 million GEL.

A one-off 300-GEL assistance for persons employed by entities to be affected by the tighter localized restrictions imposed in December-January
• An estimated number of beneficiaries: up to 100,000
• Budget: 30 million GEL.

A 600-GEL assistance to persons with disabilities aged under 18 and persons with severe disabilities
• 100 GEL per month in the course of 6 months (January-June)
• An estimated number of beneficiaries: 43,000
• Budget: 27 million GEL.

A 600-GEL assistance to families with social rating points from 0 through 100,000 and 2 or more children aged under 16
• 100 GEL per month in the course of 6 months (January-June)
• An estimated number of beneficiaries: 24,000 families
• Budget: 15 million GEL.

A 600-GEL assistance to families with social rating points from 65,000 through 100,000
• 100 GEL per month in the course of 6 months (January-June)
• An estimated number of beneficiaries: 72,000 families
• Budget: 55 million GEL.
