Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili attended the official introduction of TBC Bank at London stock exchange on June 11. The head of the government delivered a speech to the audience and congratulated TBC Bank on success. According to his statement TBC Bank has made important steps to promote Georgia on international market.
"The bank has implemented a transaction of global importance through placing shares on the London stock exchange. In this regard successful first placement of shares and participation of hundreds recognized institutional investors of the United Kingdom, USA, Scandinavian and other countries of Europe is particularly noteworthy. As a result TBC Bank joined the world leading public companies," -Irakli Garibashvili stated.
According to his statement the success of transactions once more confirms that investors have no doubt in Georgia's stability and potential of sustainable economic development.
"Besides, there is no doubt that the prestige of the country is increasing daily and Georgia establishes its decent place," - the Prime Minister noted.
During his visit to London the head of the government of Georgia held a face-to-face meeting with the president of the London stock exchange Xavier Rolet, delivered a speech at festive reception of TBC Bank, also visited "BBC World NEWS" live broadcast.
