Prime Minister of Georgia paid an official visit to Armenia

Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili paid an official visit to Armenia on August 21-22. Two days official visit was started with an official meeting at Vartnotsi airport. Within the framework of the visit Irakli Garibashvili met with Armenian counterpart and later on an enhanced meeting of Georgian and Armenian government representatives were held. After completion of the meeting Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli Garibashvili and Armenian Prime Minister, Hovik Abrahamyan held the joint briefing for media and made statements. At the end of the day, Prime Minister hosted by an Armenian colleague with an official dinner.
Within the visit Georgian government members met with Parliament Speaker of Armenia, Galust Sahakyan. Irakli Garibashvili met with President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan. After completion of the meeting President of Armenia invited Georgian delegation on an official dinner.
Georgian delegation visited Brand company cognac factory in Yerevan within the visit framework, they visited an ancient manuscript institute - Matenadaran exhibits. Georgian delegation left for Armenia on August 22. The Delegation led by Irakli Garibashvili consisted of the ministers of foreign affairs, economics, energy, as well as Parliament member, Ruslan Poghosyan and the deputy head of government administration, Nino Kobakhidze.
