PRIME MINISTER OF GEORGIA PARTICIPATES IN THE OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF EURASIA TUNNEL Print Version

H.E. Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia participated in the official launch of Eurasia Tunnel, held in Istanbul on December 20, 2016.

Head of the Government of Georgia paid a one-day-long official visit the Republic of Turkey and held meetings with H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Turkey and his colleague - H.E. Binali Yıldırım, Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey.

Hosting Prime Minister invited the visiting Prime Minister and Delegation of Georgia to a business lunch after the face-to-face meeting. Prime Ministers of Georgia and Turkey made joint statements for media afterwards.

Head of the Government of Georgia also visited the Besiktas Football Stadium, site of the terrorist attack that killed dozens of people on December 10, 2016. Prime Minister of Georgia brought wreath of garland to the site and paid tribute to the memory of the victims.

Official Delegation of Georgia included the following officials: H.E. Giorgi Gakharia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia; Mr. David Dondua, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and Mr. Tedo Japaridze, Adviser to the Prime Minister of Georgia on Foreign Affairs.
