Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the Government meeting was held at the Administration of the Government today. The Government discussed 23 issues placed on the agenda.
Pursuant to the Government Decision, residential areas in Tbilisi, Gardabani, Tsalka, Tetritskaro, Tserovani da Tsilkani were granted to 336 internally displaced families.
Pursuant to the provisions of the Government Ordinance housing was granted to 12 986 internally displaced families starting from October 2012 till now.
Furthermore, a process anticipated by over 24 000 internally displaced families throughout number of years will be launched. In line with the Government Decision, apartment owners' partnership established by 54 internally displaced families residing on Ninoshvili Street in Tbilisi will be granted a common use areas, including attics, basements, etc. This process will have a continuous character.
In line with the provisions of the Government Ordinance, 11 more taxpayers in Adigeni, Dmanisi, Mestia, Ambrolauri and Tsageri will be granted a status of highland enterprises. Entrepreneurial activities pursued by these ventures include cultivation of crops, baking and selling of bread products, processing and selling of milk, cattle breeding, wood processing, manufacturing of construction materials, wine farming, etc. Pursuant to the Government decision, already 88 taxpayers enjoy the status of highland enterprises.
