Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia met with Mikhail I. Rusyi, Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus today. Visiting official congratulated the Head of Government of Georgia with the new President-Elect.

Bilateral economic relations were discussed at the meeting. It was noted that interaction between Georgia and Belarus are getting stronger year by year.

It was underlined that trade volumes have been increased, along with import and export indicators. Particularly noteworthy was the growing interest of Georgian consumers towards Belarusian commodities and Belarusian consumers - towards Georgian goods.

Discussions were also related to the significance of establishing joint ventures and government incentives towards seeing Georgian-Belorussian corporations in future.
