The cooperation between Red Cross and the Government in the areas of healthcare, social affairs, and emergency management were the key topics discussed during today's meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze and President of the Georgia Red Cross Society Natia Loladze. The meeting was held at the Administration of the Government.
Natia Loladze introduced the Head of Government to the work of the Georgia Red Cross Society.
The parties discussed the upcoming visit of President Francesco Rocca of the International Federation of Red Cross. Francesco Rocca is scheduled to visit Georgia in March 2019.
The meeting emphasized that the Georgia Red Cross Society is one of the first among 190 countries to be certified by the International Federation of Red Cross. The parties also singled out and welcomed the Georgia Red Cross Society's election to the Governing Board of the International Federation of Red Cross.
