2019-01-21

Georgian Prime Minister will participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos on January 22-25.

The visit involves high-level meetings and negotiations with business leaders and the executives of the world's largest companies.

According to the Head of Government, one of the key goals of said meetings under the WEF in Davos is to attract additional FDIs in Georgia.

"We will meet with several companies actively considering and planning to invest in Georgia. Negotiations will be held with companies that consider establishing international offices in Georgia. We have an initiative that will launch in the second half of 2019 to offer considerable tax cuts to companies with major offices in Georgia to serve the region. In addition, we will have meetings with political leaders to discuss the Georgian Government's initiatives, especially those pertaining to European integration. I believe this visit will be very important, interesting, and, I hope, productive," Mamuka Bakhtadze told the press.
