Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia congratulated ethnic Azerbaijani citizens of Georgia with Novruz Bayram today when attending a festive event in Marneuli together with Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civil Equality.
"Let me congratulate this day to all of you. Novruz Bayram Mubarek Olsun! Let me congratulate you with the burst of spring and wish new life to your families! We live in Georgia - country with a multi-century long history of kinship, admiration and unity. Strength of Georgia always rested in diversity. We are all born in this country to stand side by side and work for the progress of our shared homeland. This great admiration and kinship should be transferred to future generations in an unconditional manner. I am very happy that our friends from Azerbaijan are attending the festivity today. I wish to congratulate Novruz Bayram to our sisters and brothers in Azerbaijan and wish them all the best!" added the Prime Minister of Georgia.
Head of Government of Georgia viewed the municipal stands, obtained information on projects planned in the region and attended sports contests within the scope of the festive event.
