"It is gratifying that Car Share service will be introduced to Batumi, right after Tbilisi starting from tomorrow. It is a an incredibly popular service in all the leading cities of the world" stated Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia in his key-note speech delivered at the presentation of a project by AiCar Corp.

According to the Head of Government of Georgia, apart from Tbilisi and Batumi, electric Car Share service will be introduced to other cities and towns of Georgia in the nearest future.

"Our declared priority is Green Economy, which leads to the main goal to overcome the most pressing challenge faced by our population - poverty. We are oriented towards implementing such projects that will help us in attaining the most important goal. Some years ago I remember talking about it and some of our opponents expressing controversial opinion and skepticism about the idea itself. Today I can say with great bravado that Georgia is shaping into a manufacturer of this high-tech commodity. Electric car manufacturing plant is being built in our country, along with solar energy panels and its main sales market - apart from Georgia - will be the EU, i.e. we are transforming into an exporter country of high-tech commodity, which was unimaginable some years ago" noted the Prime Minister of Georgia.

According to the Head of Government of Georgia, along with the National Idea- Education, such projects will serve as a main reason for a sound positioning of Georgia in the 21st century and similar projects will be the main guarantee of it.

"I wish to particularly thank AiCar and AiGroup for implementing such innovative projects. This is the company that will carry out the most ambitious project since the country regained its independence - construction of an electric car manufacturing in Kutaisi. This enterprise will be our visiting card in the 21st century. I am particularly thrilled that our citizens will be able to benefit of electric cars manufactured in Georgia from 2020. Moreover, this enterprise is destined to manufacture electric cars with first ever design made in Georgia and it will be a truly unique outcome" added the Prime Minister of Georgia.

AiCar entered Batumi with 20 electric cars. AiEnergy has already installed 10 charging stations in the vicinity of Batumi Railway Station. Number of such stations will increase day by day.
