Official Visit of the Head of Government of Georgia to the Republic of Armenia started with Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of the host country.

Greet and Welcome Ceremony was held in the honor of Giorgi Gakharia at the Government House of the Republic of Armenia. Visiting Georgian colleague was hosted by Nikol Pashinyan at an interface meeting.

Parties focused on the warm bilateral relations and intensified cooperation in various areas.

"We bear a huge responsibility. It is our history and our ancestors, who gave foundation to the friendship between our two nations. I am confident that we will carry out the duty entrusted to us with due dignity. I wish to confirm that Government of Georgia stands ready to work more to make sure that relations between our two countries become more effective and beneficial to each citizen of our nations. Even though we have very good relations, we agree that we can develop them further to gain more benefit for our people in the areas of economy, construction, infrastructure, arts and culture, sports and all other dimensions" stated the Prime Minister of Georgia.

Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia expressed gratitude to the visiting Georgian colleague for the Official Visit. Nikol Pashinyan named a further advancement of friendly relations with Georgia as one of his key milestones in the capacity of a Prime Minister.

"I am delighted to note that relations between the two countries will further improve in every dimension. Having worked as a Prime Minister for a year and a half now, I deem the best achievement to be the advanced relations between our two countries, which I believe will develop further as a result of our joint endeavors" stated Nikol Pashinyan.

Interface meeting was followed with negotiations in an extended format with an engagement of representatives from both countries.
