Georgian Prime Minister’s Upcoming Visit to Israel

On July 24-25, Georgian Prime Minister will hold an official visit to Israel.

The official visit of the Head of Georgian Government will start with a face-to-face meeting with Prime Minister of the State of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, followed by a joint press statement.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili is also scheduled to hold meetings with President of the State of Israel Reuven Rivlin and Speaker of the Knesset Yuli Edelstein, also with Isaac Herzog, the leader of the opposition in the Knesset.

The Prime Minister will also meet with Patriarch Theophilos III of the Holy City of Jerusalem and All Palestine and representatives of the Georgian diaspora.

During the official visit, the Prime Minister of Georgia will honor the memory of the victims of the Holocaust and visit the Monastery of the Cross in Jerusalem.

The Georgian delegation consists of Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze and the Prime Minister's Foreign Adviser Tedo Japaridze.
