Prime Minister and Government Delegation to Visit Brussels

On November 20-21, Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze, together with a government delegation, will hold a working visit to Brussels.

On November 21, the inaugural session in a new top-level format will be held under the chairmanship of the Head of Georgian Government and President Jean-Claude Juncker of the European Commission to seek deeper sectoral cooperation between Georgia and the EU. Members of the Georgian Cabinet and European Commissioners will participate in the meeting.

Under the Brussels visit, the Prime Minister will hold several bilateral high-level meetings, and negotiations with President Donald Tusk of the European Council and President Jean-Claude Juncker of the European Commission, followed by a joint press conference by the meeting's parties.
The Georgian government delegation includes Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Maya Tskitishvili, Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani, Justice Minister Thea Tsulukiani, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kobulia, Minister of Education, Culture and Sport Mikheil Batiashvili, and Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Levan Davitashvili. Thematic meetings of the members of the Cabinet with European Commissioners are also scheduled.
