In line with legislative amendments proposed to the Tax Code of Georgia, agriculture land plots under 5 hectares if owned by internally displaced persons (IDPs) as of January 1, 2011 will be subject to a property tax waiver.

Provision of the law will also apply to tax liabilities originating from 2013.
