Government Meeting of July 16, 2015
2015-07-16 During a government session chaired by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, the Cabinet discussed 26 issues. The session included the approval of the "EU-Georgia Visa Regime Liberalization Related Information and Communication," as well as a discussion on key pediatric healthcare projects. Another key topic of discussion during the government session was ways to enhance pediatric healthcare. A draft degree on "Measures to be taken for the medical treatment of children" was approved. As part of this initiative, the German Chary Organization has funded a medical trip for eight young patients from Georgia. In addition, medicines and medical essentials will be brought to treat 62 children. The German side will undertake all expenses, except the aircraft handling costs (including the aircraft taking off, landing, navigation, land-airport services and aviation security fees) at Tbilisi International Airport. Accordingly, the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs will cover the transportation costs to support this project. Prime Minister's Press Office
