Today Georgian Prime Minister held a meeting with Latvian President Raimonds VÄ“jonis in Brussels.
The key topics of the conversation included bilateral cooperation across a number of areas, 25 years of diplomatic relations, Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations, and the country's ongoing reforms.
Special attention was paid to Georgia's progress and the successful implementation of the reforms under the Association Agreement.
The parties emphasized the need to step up bilateral trade and economic relations and the potential in this regard.
The conversation also involved regional security challenges and the developments in Georgia's occupied territories. Prime Minister Kvirikashvili thanked the President of Latvia for supporting Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
