On December 29, the Prime Minister of Georgia Vladimer Gurgenidze toured the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region. First he arrived in Stephantsminda and visited the newly built family hotels. In 2008 rehabilitation of the roads will be finally completed, gasification of the region will take place, the water-supply system will be improved, three public schools still pending for renovation will be fixed and a new hospital will be built (within the framework of the program: 100 New Hospitals in Georgia). As for the unemployment, the situation is rather hard in this region. In order to fix the problem, the government and the private businesses should work together", - the prime minister asserted.
