Prime Minister introduced a new Minister of Education Dimitri Shashkin On December 8, 2009 the Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri introduced a new Minister of Education and Science Dimitri Shashkin to the Ministry's employees.

The Prime Minister expressed his thanks to the former Minister Nika Gvaramia for the work performed.

"I want to thank Nika Gvaramia as he was one of the successful ministers in the Cabinet of Ministers. I believe that Dimitri Shashkin will perform his commitments in good manner. Dima Shashkin is a good manager. He has good communication and dialogue skills.

He will continue implementation of democratic reforms, and as to all education-related reforms, we'll jointly effect them," said Nika Gilauri.
