Interagency Coordination Council, Rules to Resume Clubbing from March 5-6, Admitting 60% of the Total Possible Number of Guests Print Version

The clubbing industry will resume operations from March 5-6, although the restriction remains in force, according to which 60% of the maximum possible number of guests will be allowed in clubs of Georgia.

The decision was made by the Interagency Coordination Council in the light of current epidemiological trends. The Head of Government Administration informed the Georgian Culture and Creative Industries Union Head about the decision. Ilia Darchiashvili met David Lezhava together with Giorgi Ghibradze, Chief of the Taskforce operating under the Interagency Coordination Council at the Government Administration, and Nino Kvetenadze, Deputy Business Ombudsman of Georgia.

As commonly known, the peak of Omicron strain has entered a downward phase. Therefore, it was considered possible to restore the operation of nightclubs from March 2022 by taking into zccount the stabilizing situation in the country.
