"Good day. The year has come to an end. We continue working in the intensive regime and listening information of the Ministries at government meetings. At today's meeting we will listen to reports of several Ministries about what has been done in 2011, what problems they have had, what they have not been able to settle and what the main aims are for the year 2012. On December 30, we will traditionally present a complete report on 2011 achievements, problems and 2012 plans, main aims and top-priority directions to the public.

This is early to talk about 2011 results and final macroeconomic figures, although we have preliminary data. I would like to give this data in the form of preliminary information to business sector, representatives of the government and the public. Preliminary figure of Gross Domestic Product growth rate amounts to 6.5%. This data may change by +/- 0.1%, but the preliminary figure is 6.5%. Second important figure is inflation data. According to preliminary data, 12 months inflation amounted to 2 percent, while average inflation of the year amounted to 8.5%. At the beginning of the year, inflation index was comparatively high amounting to 11-12%, in May, this index reached 14% and then it started to reduce.

In comparison to December of the last year, 12 month inflation of December amounts to 2%, while an average annual inflation amounts to 8.5%. These are preliminary data; we will have total investments, total trade, export and import figures, which we will present to the public in the nearest future."
