Before the meetings in Singapore started Nika Gilauri mentioned that "Singapore has its significant voice in UNO and other international organizations as well. These are such investors, such large investment companies as Temasek, GIC, Singapore's state investment companies. We would like to attract them to Georgia as they have a great number of investment projects which are being implemented by them in developing countries. These are reforms carried out in Singapore over the last years, which had most positive outcome".

The Primthe Prime Minister of Georgia, Nika Gilauri and the President of Singapore, Sellapan Ramanathan Nathane Minister of Georgia met with the Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Hsien Loong.

"The reason of why we want to follow Singapore's example in Georgia is the reality you see today in that country. The reforms carried out in Singapore over the last years had very good outcome due to simplicity of doing business. We the Prime Minister of Georgia, Nika Gilauri and the President of Singapore, Sellapan Ramanathan Nathanare at the 12th place and Singapore is at the first place. Singapore is at the first place, it has been steadily at the first place for the last years and that is why we attach such great importance to this very project. See what Singapore looks like", - Nika Gilauri stated after the meeting.

In Singapore the Prime Minister of Georgia met also with President of Singapore, Sellapan Ramanathan Nathan.

"We are aware that the abovementioned investment funds make investments in developing countries. We shall have a particular offer for hydropower plants. We would like to lay emphasis on hydropower plants. We know that energy is their business line as well and they would like to make investments in energy. It will be two projects to be offered to Temasek and GIC", - the Prime Minister of Georgia pointed out before meeting with the representatives of the investment funds.
