37 years in charge of the Orthodox Church of Georgia: the Prime Minister congratulated Catholicos Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II on the occasion of the 37th anniversary of his enthronement. 

"Your Holiness, allow me to express my love and congratulate you on the 37th anniversary of your enthronement. We all certainly cherish this date. In these 37 years, the Georgian people have gone through trials and tribulations, and it is of utmost importance that you have always been identified with hope. You have always stood by our nation in times of both joy and sorrow. We are happy to have such a virtuous spiritual leader. You are setting an example of humanity, forgiveness, patriotism, and love for all to follow. Your have rendered invaluable service to our homeland. On behalf of the Government and Armed Forces, I once again congratulate you on this date and wish you strength and many years. I believe that, with your blessing, our country will be united," the Prime Minister addressed the Patriarch.
The festive liturgy served in the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral to celebrate the 37th anniversary of the Patriarch's enthronement and the Feast of Saint Spyridon of Trimythous was attended by Irakli Garibashvili and members of the Government.
