The next government meeting was held in the government administration led by the Prime Minister on November 7 where 18 issues of the agenda were discussed, 8 issues were added, and 26 issues were approved. Agenda.
According to the resolution of the government approved the project on approving medical education program after diploma. The implementation of the program will support uninterrupted medical service delivery and geographic availability for population living in mountainous and border municipalities through preparation of human resource in medical specialties that is a priority and deficit in these municipalities. The Ministry considers target funding of the education (professional training) after diploma for medical applicants in deficit and priority specialties as one of the instruments for supporting availability of medical services and uninterrupted provision, establishment of medical staff through making relevant agreements with them within which applicant's obligation will be regulated, after completion of resident program of education (professional training) after diploma, within a certain term (3 years), regarding employment in mountainous and border municipalities defined in advance.
The government cabinet approved the project of the Georgian government resolution on making amendments to resolution N365 as of May 30, 2014 of the Georgian government on approving the state program "produce in Georgia".
Making amendments in the resolution is due to effective management of budget funds. In particular, with the mentioned amendments booking of the sum by the institution under the ministry of finance of Georgia - treasury service will not be done to the relevant sub-accounts opened for the agency regarding co-participation in guarantee of the credit issued to program beneficiary by a commercial bank. Instead, the sum of co-participation in credit guaranteed issued to program beneficiary, in case of request by commercial bank, will be considered in assignments of the ministry of economy and sustainable development of Georgia, and in case of using co-participation in guarantee by commercial bank, transfer of the sums will be done from the assignments of the ministry of economy and sustainable development of Georgia. This will give the state an opportunity to effectively use the budget funds.
In addition, based on the resolution N365 as of May 30, 2014 of the Georgian government on approving the state program "produce in Georgia", the program "produce in Georgia supporting industrial development was approved the aim of which is to support business entities in Georgia, establishment of new enterprises and increasing competitiveness of private sector and export potential through availability to financial resources, real estate and technical assistance, accordingly the program contains three components. One of the components of the program - availability to real estate implies, according to conditions defined by this program, in case of adapting legal act of the Georgian government, according to the rule of the legislation, giving the real estate in the ownership of the state with 1 (one) GEL. Establishment of different industries, including enterprise of construction materials was defined as the direction of the state program "produce in Georgia".
Today the draft law on making amendments to the Georgian law on state pension was approved at the government meeting today. The draft law defines that paid labor activities (expert service) done by experts for evaluation of projects submitted to scientific grant contests announced by LEPL Shota Rustaveli national scientific fund is not considered as public activity that in its turn will not cause suspension of giving state pensions to experts.
