The next Government meeting was held in the Government administration on December 18 led by the Prime Minister where 39 issues of the agenda were discussed, 13 issues were added, 52 issues were approved.
The Government resolution project on approving the rule of victim identification and status definition by the group defining domestic violence victim status under the inter-agency group implementing measures for prevention of domestic violence (victim identification group) was approved at the Government meeting. The work of the group under the inter-agency council of prevention of domestic violence which defined victim status was suspended since April 2014. The resolution regulates the scope of definition of victims of domestic violence. Inter-agency council selects 12 persons or a group according to certain criteria. The validity of the group is defined by 3 years, and the deadline for victim status - 18 months.
According to minister cabinet decision the project of Government resolution on privatization in the form of direct selling of the real estate owned by the state is valid according to which apartments will be given to 546 IDP families living in Tbilisi and other regions of Georgia.
Within the state program "produce in Georgia" the Government resolution projects on privatization in a way of direct selling were approved that will support opening new enterprises.
At the Government meeting the Prime Minister instructed the justice minister to start the discussion of reforming the prosecutor's office in criminal inter-agency council. The first meeting of the council will be held on December 26.
