Georgian Prime Minster Irakli Garibashvili chaired a recent government session, during which the Cabinet discussed 33 items.
The Cabinet approved a draft resolution on "Privatization of the State-owned Real Estate, in the Form of Free Transfer into the Ownership." This resolution includes allocating homes to 169 international displaced families.
The Cabinet also passed a petition from the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia. Under this new petition, the state will now transfer land in Mtskheta and Mukhrovani to three eco-migrant families for permanent ownership. The land and buildings will be transferred over for a symbolic price of 1GEL.
Amendments were also introduced to Resolution 430 (dated December 31, 2010), on the "Approval of the Rule of Form and Issue of Veterinary Certification for the Products under Veterinary Control". As a result, new regulations, requested by the European Union, will be introduced.
