Born on 28th June 1982.
Graduated from Public School N1 in Dedoplistskaro Region of Georgia in 1999.
Studied at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in 1999-2004, specializing in International Law and International Relations, qualifying in International Relations.
Studied at the Sorbonne University (Paris, France) in 2002-2004, specializing in Political Studies, qualifying in International Relations.
Pursued Master's Degree studies in International Relations at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in 2005.
Worked as an Intern at Foreign Relations Committee of the Parliament of Georgia in 2001-2002.
Worked as a Manager at Overseas Procurement Division of the Logistics Department at Burji LLC (Cartu Group) in 2004-2005 and later as Deputy Director of Logistics Department of Burji LLC (Cartu Group) from May 2005 through October 2005.
Served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO at Cartu International Charity Foundation from 12/2005 through 14/02/2012 and later as Member of Supervisory Council of Cartu Bank from 12/2007 through 14/02/2012.
Served as Director of Georgian Dream LLC from 07/2009 through 06/2012.
Is a Founding Member and Revision Commission Head of Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia (Political Party) since 15/02/2012.
Served as a Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia in the period of 25/10/2012 through 17/11/2013.
Served as a Prime Minister of Georgia in the period of 20/11/2013 through 24/12/2015.
Worked in the private sector in the period of 12/02/2018 through 01/082019.
