Prime Minister of Georgia took part in Anti-Corruption Summit: London 2016. The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom David Cameron held said event. Leaders of more than 40 countries, Presidents of the IMF and World Bank attended the Summit.  Giorgi Kvirikashvili visited London on May 11-13.

During the Summit Prime Minister elaborated on the steps taken to eliminate corruption and noted that while they may not be groundbreaking, but the results can be regarded as revolutionary.

Within the frames of the visit, Prime Minister met Secretary of State for Defence Michael Fallon, the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Philip Hammond and the CEO of British petroleum Bob Dudley.

Secretaries for Defence and Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs reasserted their support to European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Georgia, as well as its territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Prime Minister also delivered speech at the think tank Chatham House, where he elaborated on the foreign polity of Georgia and democratic reforms undertaken within the country.

"Georgia aims at approximation to the EU standards and eventually, at becoming EU and NATO member; I would like to tell to individuals who speculate regarding the foreign course of Georgia, I reassert the fact that it is the unwavering will of Georgian citizens that has been demonstrated in number of cases through censuses and referendums," - Prime Minister noted.

Prime Minister of Georgia discussed investment potential of Georgia and specific investment projects at business forum Georgia Investor Day in London. The Head of the Government of Georgia presented detailed report on the opportunities provided by Georgia to its potential investors to the representatives of leading British investment funds and banks.130 businessmen attended the business forum.

During his visit to the United Kingdom, Head of the Government of Georgia attended the sermon at the Cathedral of Nativity of the Saviour in London, where he met with the representative of Georgian diaspora. Prime Minister also attended the celebratory reception marking 25th anniversary of regaining independence of Georgia.
