Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia led the Executive Government Meeting today at the Government Administration of Georgia.

Cabinet of Ministers has discussed 27 items included in the agenda of the meeting.

In line with the decision made by the Government of Georgia, additional funding has been allocated to further improve the infrastructure in recreation areas of the country.

Namely, 5 000 000 GEL will be spent on arranging Kobi-Gudauri ski slopes and temporary system to avoid avalanches in the winter season.

Old boulevard will be rehabilitated in Ureki hamlet and construction works will commence to arrange the new one; central, circular pedestrian track will be rehabilitated in Bakuriani hamlet; Didi Mitarbi cable-car access motorway will be rehabilitated; Kobuleti shore reinforcement and coastline arrangement works will be intensified. About 20 MLN GEL is estimated in total for the referred works.

Government of Georgia has also endorsed a Resolution for the rehabilitation of local roads in 12 municipalities. Initiative will apply to Akhalkalaki, Oni, Lagodekhi, Kareli, Mtskheta, Khoni, Tsageri, Tsalenjikha, Chokhatauri, Chkhorotsku, Zugdidi and Tskaltubo Municipalities. Rehabilitation of local roads in the referred list will amount 80 MLN GEL.

Government of Georgia has also endorsed a Resolution on Measures Intended for Avoidance of Administrative Resource Use Within the Scope of Pre-Ballot Campaign for Presidential Elections of Georgia in 2018, which obliges public institutions of the country to inform their staff on the restrictions defined for civil servants in the Election Code of Georgia.
