Giorgi Gakharia, Prime Minister of Georgia met Rovnag Abdullayev, President of SOCAR – State Oil Company of Azerbaijan today.
Discussions were related to large investments made by SOCAR in Georgia, thus making its significant contribution to the economy of Georgia.
It was noted that Government of Georgia welcomes the launch of a new, multi-functional complex of SOCAR Georgia Petroleum, which has predominantly employed the local population.
Discussions at the meeting were related to future cooperation. Prime Minister of Georgia hosted the President of SOCAR – State Oil Company of Azerbaijan at the Government Administration of Georgia.
