"It is the first ever bilateral meeting of the Prime Minister of Georgia to the Netherlands and, as the Prime Minister has just mentioned, it is the first European visit as a Prime Minister of Georgia for me. We had a very fruitful meeting with the Prime Minister and of course we discussed all different dimensions of cooperation between our countries. Netherlands is our great supporter both in bilateral and multilateral formats. We value this support. During the meeting we have discussed the occupation of Georgian territories. We also discussed the progress my country is showing in its Euro-Atlantic aspiration. We consider Netherlands as an important partner in this regard. We are also grateful for the support and input of the Netherlands in the implementation of Substantial NATO-Georgia Package. During the meeting we also discussed an economic dimension of our cooperation and we have a lot to do to deepen this cooperation. We have of course realized that we have increased the number of tourists from the Netherlands to Georgia. We are once again grateful to be here and we really appreciate your warm hospitality in the Netherlands" stated the Prime Minister of Georgia

Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Netherlands thanked the visiting dignitary for a historic visit and noted that it is a confirmation of high-level relations existing between the two countries.

In the opinion of the Dutch Prime Minister, Georgia has turned into a role model in the region and that is why it is a key partner for the Netherlands and European Union.

"We have every confidence in your country's future; confidence that fuels macro-economic stability, economic growth and reforms that Georgia has achieved. We have confidence that when stability prevails opportunities arise; opportunities to boost our trade ties for more years ahead for example in the agricultural sector. Our countries share common values, including a commitment to democracy and rule of law. In the area of security too, our countries share a common interest and challenges. After all, the security, stability and prosperity of our regions are highly inter-dependent. Netherlands values the collaborative and successful relationship that were forged with Georgia over the years. This relationship, I hope, will only grow further in the future and not simply at a level of governments and business, but for ordinary Dutch and Georgian people too" stated the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Netherlands.
