Today, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili visited Chokhatauri's main square, Dumbadze Street, and parks under rehabilitation within the scope of the Renewed Regions program.

Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Irakli Karseladze briefed the Head of Government on implemented and planned work.

The Municipal Development Fund has allocated over 5 million GEL for rehabilitation in Chokhatauri.

Under projects financed by the program, energy efficiency components were upgraded in buildings in 63 municipalities across the country, consequently significantly reducing heating costs. Under the project, doors and windows were also replaced, and lightings were installed in streets and recreation areas.

The 4-year Renewed Regions program covers 63 municipalities of Georgia, with the estimated value of its first phase alone making up 500 million GEL.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by representatives of executive, legislative, and local governments.
