Georgia's investment environment, the country's prospects of becoming a financial hub, and the Georgian Government's concrete planned measures were discussed during today's meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Mansoor Bin Ebrahim Al-Mahmoud, Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Investment Authority. The meeting was held as part of the Prime Minister's visit to the Economic Forum in Doha.
The meeting focused on economic, trade, an investment cooperation, with the parties committing to developing various investment projects.
According to the Prime Minister, Georgia enjoys a favorable investment environment and a strategic location.
Irakli Garibashvili thanked the Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Investment Authority for the meting and expressed hope for closer cooperation in the future.
