Today, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, as part of his visit to Madrid, met with Magdalena Andersson, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden.
The topics discussed during the meeting included the positive dynamics in the partnership between the two countries and the European Council's decision to grant an EU membership perspective to Georgia.
Irakli Garibashvili thanked the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden for supporting Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, along with the country's EU integration and European reform agenda. He also singled out Sweden as one of Georgia's major international donors making a tremendous contribution to the country's democratic and institutional modernization and socioeconomic development.
