Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia attended the Opening of the General Debate of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) today.
The General Debate opened with speeches from the UN Secretary-General and the President of the General Assembly. The participants of the Opening Session were addressed by Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, President of Brazil; Joseph Biden, President of the USA; Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of Turkiye and other state leaders.
The theme of the General Debate of the 79th Session of the General Assembly is Leaving No One Behind: Joint Action for Peace, Sustainable Development and Human Dignity for Present and Future Generations.
