Official Visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia to Kazakhstan

On 18-19 November the Prime Minister of Georgia paid a two-day visit to Kazakhstan.

During the first day of the visit, Noghaideli met his Kazakh counterpart Daniyal Akhmetov. Members of the Georgian delegation visited the new administrative centre of Astana and the office of architectural planning; they also acquainted themselves with the development plan of the city.

On 19 November Minister of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, the chairman of the inter-governmental committee and Zurab Noghaideli had a business breakfast. That same day Noghaideli met Uzukbay Karabalin, the president of KazMunayGaz.

Later the Kazakh and Georgian sides held an expanded negotiation session.

Noghaideli then met Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev at the Akorda presidential residence.

The Senate of the Kazakh Republic hosted a meeting of Zurab Noghaideli and Senate Chair Nurtay Abykayev.
