On May 16, at the beginning of the cabinet meeting, the Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Noghaideli stated that one of the main issues on the agenda of the government discussions is the draft law of Georgia on entering ammendments into the law on the "State Budget of Georgia for 2007". The review process will be completed by the session of May 18. He gave orders to the Minister of Finance of Georgia Aleksi Aleksishvili to brief the public on the results of today's discussion and yield information on the main parameters of the changes to be implemented; the minister was also instructed to deliver detailed information to the representatives of printed and electronic media on the issues scheduled for the discussion on May 18. The prime minister of Georgia also emphasized that according to the said parameters which had been clearly formulated long before, utilization of additional financial resources designed for developing various programs is still underway.
