The Georgian-Czech business forum

On May 11 the Georgian-Czech Business Forum took its start in Tbilisi Marriott Hotel. It was officially opened by Zurab Noghaideli, the Prime Minister of Georgia. The key speakers at the conference were the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Mirek Topolanek, the Minister of Economic Development of Georgia Giorgi Arveladze and Martin Říman, the Minister of Trade and Industries of the Czech Republic. It was today that the Memorandum has been signed which implies cooperation within the frames of the program targeting at the development of hospital sector. The signers of the memorandum are the representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of
Georgia, the Ministry of Labor, Health Care and Social Protection of Georgia, the Blocke Joint Stock Company, the Czech Export Bank and Block Georgia LTD.

The memorandum is designed for the purpose of supporting the development of hospital sector in Georgia and thus it will enhance the relations between our two countries; it will also assist to building the hospitals matching the European standards and will help to increase the flow of significant investment capital in the health care sphere of our country.
