Prime Minister Zurab Noghaideli opened the 7 March 2007 cabinet meeting by informing government members that the economy had remained active throughout February. He said that tax revenues had exceeded targets by 60 million GEL and expressed the hope that this tendency would continue over the coming months. "Our main tasks in this area are to further improve revenues collection and provide better services to taxpayers," he said.
