Prime Minister of Georgia Meets President of Bundestag

On October 12 at the Chancellery of the Government the Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Noghaideli met the President of Bundestag of the Federal Republic of Germany Norbert Lammert.

After the meeting Zurab Noghaideli spoke about the German-Georgian future economic relations and issues discussed within the meeting. As the Prime Minister stated the development of relations with the Federal Republic of Germany are of top importance for Georgia because from the next year Germany will be the country presiding the Council of European Union.

"At the meeting we also discussed the worsened relations between Russia and Georgia. Currently, President Putin is in Germany and holds meeting with the German Chancellor. The world is worried about the sanctions imposed by Russia on Georgia. We have the full support from Germany in this issue, - stated Zurab Noghaideli.
