Prime Minister Visits Tquibuli

On September 24 the Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Noghaideli together with the General director of Georgian Railways Ltd. Irakli Ezugbaya visited Tquibuli and inspected Tquibuli railway station. The railroaders informed the head of the Government in details about the paln of rehabilitation of Tquibuli-I railway section for which are allocated 10 million GEL. Zurab Noghaideli said, that the full loading of the railway line after rehabilitation will promote development of local production and increase in traffic of goods.

In Tquibuli Zurab Noghaideli met miners and promised to them better working conditions. The prime Minister stated that the capacities in the mines will be extended and this will bring to the enterprise more revenues. "250 people will be employed at the rehabilitation operations, 800 citizens will be employed directly in the mine. Tquibuli will revive again, - stated Zurab Noghaideli.

The Prime Minister came back to Tbilisi in the evening.
