Prime Minister Receives Delegation of Monetary Fund

This August 15 the Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Noghaideli received the delegation of the International Monetary Fund led by the head of Middle East and Central Asia Department of IMF Mr. John Veikman Leen.

At the meeting they discussed the national macroeconomic indices of the current and next years, the processes in the Georgian finance system, course of economic reforms and fulfillment of obligations undertaken by Georgia.

As the leader of delegation John Veikman Leen stated, the state authorities successfully continues the economic reforms that evidences the tendency of the economic growth in the country. As he said, together with the Government they continue the work for implementation of the concrete monetary policy aimed at the control of inflation.
