Prime Minister Visits Guria

On July 29 the Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Noghaideli visited Guria Region.

During his visit to the region the Prime Minister inspected the construction of Sajavakho section of Samtredia-Chokhatauri road; the process of overhaul of Chokhatauri Public school b 1 and took part in the ceremonial of opening of gas supply system at Chokhatauri bakery. Later Zurab Noghaideli inspected the headwork of the water pipelines in the village Shemokmedi of Ozurgeti region and public school N 2 under construction, visited Nabeghlavi factory. He also inspected the asphalting of the 5-km section of Ozurgeti-Natanebu highway under construction, construction operations of Tonus Ltd. and Aqua park in the village Shekvetili, viewed repair operations public schools of the village Supsa of Lanchkhuti Region and school N 1 of town Lanchkhuti.

"This year in Guria we have rather ambitious investment plans. Here we are building 60 km of road and by this all areas in Guria entering from other regions will be put in order. We are building roads in Sajavakho-Chokhatauri, Kobuleti-Ozurgeti and Natanebi-Sanapiro directions that will be a serious stimulus for the development of economy in this region.

Rehabilitation of education objects is also continued,"- stated Zurab Noghaideli within his visit to Guria.

At the end of his visit the prime Minister of Georgia met the heads of local self-governments.
